Time to Build Resource Pack

We believe that God is calling our church to extend our worship auditorium. The Time to Build resource pack contains all the information you need to understand our development plans and to consider your response to these.

The pack includes a DVD that has 3 separate components. The first is the For those to Come video that tells you the story of the empty chair and all it represents. Second, it includes the Property video that details the architectural plans for the development. Last, it includes Our Stories of people whose testimonies have inspired and touched us over the last year or so.

The Booklet invites you to respond to God’s vision and our plans with a sacrificial monetary commitment. It answers lots of practical questions and asks that you prayerfully consider what God wants you to invest into our church’s future.

Also included in the pack is an Invitation to a Thanksgiving Celebration on Tuesday 14th June at either 10am or 7.30pm. There is a tear off card to RSVP to this event. These will be great celebrations as we give thanks for the past and look forward to the future. We will also share morning tea or supper together.

Finally, the pack contains a Pledge Card. We ask that having prayerfully considered what God is calling you to sacrificially give, over and above your regular tithe and/or offering over a three year period and return it either on or before Sunday 19th June – Pledge Sunday. We know that it is a big deal to ask you to commit in writing. We do it simply so that we can effectively plan to proceed. The only people who will know your commitment will be Barry Jeffries (General Manager) and Ken Bungate (Elder).

All financial commitments and subsequent giving details will be private and confidential. Should your circumstances change, you can change your commitment at any time.

If you have any questions please speak to a member of the Capital Committee – Ken Bungate, David Armstrong, Stuart Greenway, Marius and Christie Collatz, or Barry Jeffriess. Please leave your details at the information desk or church office if you would like one of them to contact you.

Building a Life of Service

On Sunday we continued our Time to Build journey by reflecting on the incredible truth that we are God’s masterpieces (Ephesians 2:10), created in and through Christ Jesus to do the good works (service) that God prepared in advance for us to do.

You can download and listen to my message here, or read a manuscript here.

You can listen to Ralph’s take on the same passage here.

Remix Sunday

We are a big, diverse community made up of six worshipping communities. It is easy for us to feel lost in all of the busyness. So on Sunday May 29 we are holding our first ever Remix Sunday. Simply put, we are encouraging you to attend a service you would not normally attend.

So, if you normally attend 7.30am, why not come to 10.45am? If you attend 9am normally, why not come along at 6pm as well? You get the picture!

Kids Hope Mentoring

Do you know about this wonderful ministry occurring weekly at our local primary school? 10 amazing people of a cross section of ages mentor one child each week. Robina Primary is so impressed that they are begging us to provide more mentors because there are many children who need such a ministry.

If you have an hour to spare this year during the school day please have a chat with Chris Reeves (0432 82 995) or Viv Batt (0412 138 520)
