Time to Build Starts!

On Sunday we began perhaps one of our most important seasons in the life of our church – Time to Build. After years of planning, praying and dreaming, we believe God is calling us to extend our worship and education facilities so that we can reach more people with the gospel.

On Sunday, across all four services, we explored the miracle of the feeding of the five thousand as we prepare for a similar miracle of God’s provision. You can download and listen to my message here, or read a manuscript here.

Time to Build Packs

Over the next couple of weeks we will be distributing through small groups and other means our Time to Build packs. The packs include a booklet, invitation, DVD and response card. The booklet tells you all you need to know about the Time to Build journey and how you and your family can participate. The DVD includes a new 15 minute video, as well as seven testimonies of people in our church whose lives have been changed by the gospel.

Time to Build – Daily Devotions

On Sunday we handed our hundreds of Time to Build Daily Devotions booklets. The devotions cover the next eight weeks and are drawn from the Old Testament books of Ezra and Nehemiah, whose stories are so helpful and challenging for us.

Time to Build – SMS Prayer Network

Through the Time to Build journey we would love you to take up the opportunity to be praying for our church. You can receive (free of charge) daily SMS prayer updates direct to your mobile phone. Time to Build – Morning Prayer

Every weekday morning we are gathering at 7.30am in the church/chapel for prayer through the Time to Build journey. We have been thrilled with those who have already committed to attend on Monday and Tuesday this week! All are welcome.

Worship Gathering

This Thursday night (May 5) we will be holding a night of worship and teaching in the Lakeside Lounge for all involved in our worship ministry and those who want to support our fantastic team of musicians, sound and projection operators and others.

The night runs from 7.30pm to 9pm and will feature some teaching from Craig Hindman and Stu Cameron and an extended time of worship.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast

On Saturday May 21 there will be a Men’s Prayer Breakfast in the Lakeside Lounge. The breakfast will run from 7am to 9am. The cost is $10. Our special guest and speaker will be Jon Morris who, together with his wife Elin and daughter Matea, is one of our Acts 1:8 missionaries serving with YWAM (Youth with a Mission).

This Sunday

This coming Sunday (7.30am, 9am, 10.45am, 6pm) we will continue our Time to Build journey as we explore what it means to build a life of Faith. Of course we will also celebrate Mother’s Day.
