Come Prepared!

The next couple of weeks will be future-defining for our church. Through this Time to Build season God has stretched, challenged, inspired and built us. I believe passionately that God has prepared the ground for a miracle of His provision. We have experienced God’s grace in so many ways through this time, including the news we received this week that the Australian Tax Office has provided our Time to Build project with Tax Deductibility status. Praise God! As this season draws to a close, I ask you to do these things:

1. Continue to pray for our church, our mission and our city – thanking God for all He has done and will do. Over the last couple of months God has increased in us a heart for prayer. Let’s press even further into Him at this critical time.

2. Come to worship this Sunday June 19 (7.30am, 9am, 10.45am, 6pm) with your Pledge Card. During each service we will be providing an opportunity to bring your pledge forward as an offering to God.

3. If your child has been filling a Time to Build Money Tin provided to them at Kidzlife, have them bring it this Sunday too. We want to provide them the opporunity to bring them forward as well.

4. Anticipate the worship and praise we will enjoy at our Combined Worship Celebration on Sunday June 26, commencing at 9am. We are inviting every person who calls Newlife home to come together as we celebrate the miracle of God’s provision in our midst. It will be this day that we announce the total figure given and pledged to Time to Build. There will be fun, food and celebration for all the family.

Finally, thank you for your participation in this incredible season in our church. As we look forward to what God will do, may we remember that God ‘is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask for or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.’ (Ephesians 3:20)
