Building a Life of Faith

On Sunday we continued our Time to Build journey by spending quality time with the men and women of the Hebrews 11 Hall of Faith. We discovered that ‘faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.’ (Hebrews 11:1) We were challenged to run our race of faith, knowing that a great cloud of heavenly witnesses cheer us on.

You can download and listen to my message, or read a manuscript here.

You can listen to Ralph’s take on the same passage here.

Time to Build Packs

Over the last week and a half we have been distributing our Time to Build packs. The pack includes a booklet, invitation, DVD and response card. The booklet tells you all you need to know about the Time to Build journey and how you and your family can participate. The DVD includes a new 15 minute video, as well as seven testimonies of people in our church whose lives have been changed by the gospel.

If you have not received your pack by Sunday May 15, please contact the office and we will make sure we get one to you!

Kids Hope Mentoring

Do you know about this wonderful ministry occurring weekly at our local primary school? 10 amazing people of a cross section of ages mentor one child each week. Robina Primary is so impressed that they are begging us to provide more mentors because there are many children who need such a ministry. If you have an hour to spare this year during the school day please have a chat with Chris Reeves (0432 82 995) or Viv Batt (0412 138 520)
