Vision Sunday

This Sunday we break from the 'Live Wider' series to launch the vision we believe God is calling us to during 2011 and beyond. Stu will lead all four of our special 'Vision Sunday' worship services and spend time telling us about the exciting plans that we have for the campus here at Robina to renovate and extend our auditorium so that it seats 1000 people - come to think of it, this message fits perfectly into our vision to 'Live Wider' doesn't it! We are not interested in buildings particularly per say, rather we are simply interested in providing God-honouring space for many more people (children, young people, and adults) to come to hear the news of Christ's love and grace for them, and then to be able to grow in that faith to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

What ever you do - don't miss this Sunday as we step out with 'Adventurous Faith' into all that God has calling us to!!

Last Weekend

On Sunday morning Orrell Battersby continued our 'Live Wider' series with a challenge that God is calling us to be 'stretchy' people as we look outwards into our local community both here at Robina but also on the Northern Gold Coast and seek to transform lives with the Good News of the Gospel! Orrell's message was extremely funny but also very profound so if you missed it do yourself a favour and visit our website to listen in.

Flood Response

We are delighted that a small, family owned, local, Gold Coast kitchen company is partnering with us to provide Bill and Maria from Bundamba with a brand new kitchen! This is truly an answer to prayer and we thank God; and Ros and Greg Robinson for their generous donation and support.

Connect and Grow!

Lots of people have taken up the opportunity to join a small group this year. There are still opportunities available so if you've been thinking about taking this step, but haven't yet done anything about it, please contact Melissa Lipsett.

Lyndon Mullholland and his wife Anna will be starting a new small group for young adult singles and couples in the near future - register your interest for this group to Lyndon.

We have also had some enquiries about a small group for young adult singles and are looking for someone who might lead such a group - again contact Melissa or Lyndon if this group, or leadership of this group, appeals to you.

Women's Ministry

The women of Newlife will start the year in very civilised fashion with a fund raising high tea and a (now famous!) Op Shop fashion parade on Saturday 19th March at 2pm. Tickets are just $10. All funds raised will go to the work of Newlife Care to assist with need in our local Gold Coast community. All women and their friends are very welcome and a great afternoon is assured!

Many Hands Make Light Work

On Saturday March 5th we need about 20 people (guys and girls) to help our regular gardening team with some overdue summer maintenance jobs. We plan to start at 7am and finish by 10am and will provide brunch. No previous experience necessary - just a willingness to help and some enthusiasm and energy. Leave your name at the information desk or office, or just turn up!
