Record Easter Attendances

What a weekend it has been as we celebrated the death and resurrection of our Lord, and all it means for us and our world. With our baptism service down at Currumbin Creek on Sunday afternoon, almost 2500 people attended our eight Easter services, with big increases on Good Friday and our Easter Saturday services in particular. If you were one of the hundreds of volunteers who helped in any way over the weekend – thank you!

Newlife goes Viral!

On Sunday afternoon I was called by a reporter from AAP (Australian Associated Press). She wanted a comment on our Easter attendances. The conversation lasted no more than two minutes. Within two hours, an article appeared all over the internet (and I assume the next day in Newspapers) with a couple of quotes from me. The article, or a variation of it, has appeared on the websites and newspapers of every mainland capital and a range of regional newspapers. It even appeared on the Times of India website!

This Sunday

This coming Sunday I will be preaching at all four services (7.30am, 9am, 10.45am and 6pm) as we commence our Time to Build journey.

We will also be celebrating Holy Communion at all three morning services.

Time to Build – Resources

This coming Sunday we will be commencing an incredibly exciting journey through our Time to Build program. After four years of planning, praying and decision making we are now ready to embrace God’s vision to extend our worship facilities in order to make room for those still to come. Very soon you will be receiving a whole bunch of information that helps you to fully be a part of this process. There will be a DVD, booklet, small group resources and daily devotions made available.
