Soft Hearts – Sharp Minds – Hard Feet
Ten days ago we launched our vision for 2011. We believe that through 2011 God wants us to be people with Soft Hearts always amazed by His grace, Sharp Minds being renewed by the Holy Spirit and Hard Feet that go to whomever and wherever in order to share the Good News. It may be that you were unable to hear this message. If that is the case you can read or listen to it here.
Free CD’s and manuscripts of the message are also available from the office during the week.

Last Sunday
Last Sunday morning we explored the depths of God’s love for us as it is experienced in community. We discovered that in biblical community we enjoy hospitality, received encouragement and offer and receive accountability. You can listen to or read my message here.
On Sunday night at 12two, Ralph continued our journey exploring some of Jesus’ most famous and provocative words. This week Ralph preached a cracker of a message on receiving as well as offering forgiveness. You can listen in here.
Don't forget that you can subscribe to Newlife Sermons on iTunes if you find that more convenient.

Property Resources
On our website we have resources that communicate God’s vision for our property. There is a 14 minute video that details plans for stage one of our property development. There are also some downloadable documents that answer key questions, detail the plans and break down the projected costs and funding sources. Also included are the proposals for this week’s congregational meeting (March 6, 12noon).
You can view all the resources here.

Prayer Vigil
We are a church that has Fervent Prayer as one of its eight core values. We believe that all we do should be informed by and bathed in prayer. This week we are calling the church to prayer, with a special vigil to be held from this Friday, March 4 at 6.00pm to Saturday, March 5 at 6.00pm. The Lakeside Lounge will be open through this 24 hour period for people to gather for prayer, or alternatively people can pray at home. We would love for you to sign up to pray for an hour or more through this period.
You can place your name on our prayer roster by emailing Liz at liz.mcnamee@newlife.unitingchurch.org.au

Congregational Meeting
We would love all Newlife members to attend a Congregational Meeting straight after the 10.45am service on Sunday 6th March (12noon) where we will vote to progress stage one in the development of our property. This is such an important gathering in the life of our church as we discern and then commit to God’s vision for our future.
Papers for the meeting are available online or from the office during the week.

Many Hands make Light Work!
On Saturday March 5th we need about 20 people (guys and girls) to help our regular gardening team with some overdue summer maintenance jobs. We plan to start at 7am and finish by 10am and will provide brunch. No previous experience necessary - just a willingness to help and some enthusiasm and energy. Leave your name at the information desk or office, or just turn up!
